The end is in sight….

With only 25 actual days of classes left, I though I would take this opportunity to write about how awesome - and quick - this year at PrairieView has been.

We all started off the year with nervousness, uncertainty and amazement - there was so much out there in the world of photography.  We were like sponges wanting to take it all it.

But first we needed to get to know each other:

Scavenger Hunt Awesomeness!

I still think that the best group assignment EVER was the scavenger hunt!  I have never had so much fun and felt so silly!  Nerdy forever!!!

One of the greatest things about coming to school at PrairieView was that we were exposed to so many different styles, types and methods of photography:

Painting with light

Surrealism

Double Exposures

Macro Photography

Zoom Bursts

Analogue photography - Not gonna lie, this is my favourite!
I was so excited when we learned how to develop our own film.

Or when we got to try out different types of cameras -
this was shot with my grandpa's old Kodak Brownie camera.

There were many different photoshop tools and techniques learned -
this one's HDR

What's life at PrairieView without a little popcorn?

And really, how can food photography not be fun!

We're almost at the end of our time hear at PrairieView, but the skills we have learned will take us far beyond our imaginations.  We've come so far and have so many things yet to come.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
